WEEK 3: ENTERTAINMENT

Life is getting a bit dull on this island...

Let's see if you can make things more entertaining! 
This week's cards: Sports Gear, Games, Instruments, Books  
Tribes must buy at least 3 cards to continue in the game.

There are 10 tasks that can be completed this week to earn points.
Each tribe can submit ONE of each task..

SPLIT UP THE TASKS AMONGST YOUR TRIBE to complete as many as you can.   

Week 3 tasks are worth 40 points. If it is a group task, it is worth 40 points per group member.

Points for week 3 will be compiled and tallied on Friday, SEPT 23

Tell a CMS adult about a SPORTS OR REALISTIC FICTION book you read this summer - this includes school nurses, foreign language teachers, librarians.

Individual (up to 3 students)

Read a short story and tell one of the librarians about it. Talk to a Librarian.

Individual (up to 3 students)

Write a poem about the island and have a tribe-mate create a picture to go with it  Submit to an Art teacher

Design an instrument out of materials you find on the island. Submit to Music Teacher

Write a song about island life [perform it for 2 extra task cards]. Submit to a Music or Drama Teacher

Make up an island game that includes at least 10 people. Submit to a PE Teacher

Write a progressive story with at least 3 tribe members (more participants = more points) with an adventure or survivor theme. Create this collaborative story on a shared google doc. Submit to an English Teacher

Group (max 5 in group)

Working with other tribe members, create a diary of daily life on the island for this week. Each participant contributes one diary entry. There should be at least one diary entry for each day this week. Submit diary on a shared google presentation

Creae a sketch, drawing or painting of a scene on our island. Submit to an Art Teacher
